The Last Straw

This is not me giving up

This is me moving on,

Because I've had enough,

I rather we end here before all my feelings are gone,

There's only so much I can take ,

Because I probably won't be able to deal with another heart break,
I tried time and time again,

But even after complaining things are still the same,

I've reached a breaking point that I can not measure ,

I found disappointment and disgust where before was abided by pleasure ,

You used up all the straws in my box of patience,

Even the historical ones I considered ancient,

Everything about you was attractive beyond compare,

 Every time you made up an excuse it became my nightmare ,

Taunting me to a point that I couldn't bare ,

As much as I tried ,

It seemed as if you were never satisfied,

I went above and beyond your expectations but you never met mine,

I've reached a point that I just want to leave it all behind,

We shared good moments ,
We had a good time,
But seems that your desire to be with me doesn't compare to mine ,

I did everything that was humanly possible,

And for you I was capable of doing the impossible ,

but most of my attempts seemed to be meaningless ,

and at the end of the day I just ended up feeling less,
Less of what I felt initially for you,

There's nothing more I'm willing to do,

 I'm letting you go so you can know how much I wanted to be with you ,

 But I've reached the last straw ,

 and I don't want to suffer any more.

Sparkling Blue Eyes

Sparkling blue eyes,

That’s what I saw,

When you came knocking on my door.

When I looked into your eyes,

I got a glimpse of paradise,

Your eyes were clear blue,

And I could only stare at you.

As the sky reflects on the sea,

So do your eyes reflected on me,

You are one of a kind,

And the truth is that I can’t get you out of my mind,

Every aspect of you is appealing to me,

Your beauty transpires beyond what my eyes can see.

If you were a marathon I’d spend my days running for miles,

Just to be rewarded with your beautiful smile,

I’m attracted by your physic and believes,

I’d like to steal your heart and wouldn’t mind being condemned as a theft,

Because your beautiful eyes,

Got me hypnotized

And I find myself in an unending loop,

Because what I feel for you goes beyond me, that’s what make it absolute,

I find myself lost in time,

Craving to see you one more time.

Just to lose myself in your eyes again.

Your sparkling blue eyes a fascinating,

Combined with your beautiful personality makes them even more amazing,

You greatly value your principles,

In my eyes that makes you invincible,

You are incomparable,

And the thought of being away from you is Unbearable.

I’ve always loved the skies,

And for some strange reason they find themselves in your sparkling blue eyes.

I would like to end my search because I don’t feel like searching any more,

Because I found in you what I’ve been looking for.

Not The Ideal Man

I am not your ideal man,

I hope you understand,

I am not tall and don't have blue eyes,

I am not rich and the only riches I'll ever have are going to be obtained by sacrifice,

The only inheritance I received from my parents  are my principles,

In this day and age this makes me invisible,

I will never be the guy you see in your dreams when you go to sleep,

I will never make your heart skip a beat,

As much as I try I will probably never put a smile on your face,

This is the reality that I've learnt to embrace,

I had the hope of loving but the truth is that I have given up,

Because independently of how much I try it's never enough,

I searched long and hard but could never find,

This left me unsteady and with no peace of mind,

I was walking around with a broken heart and broken Spirit,

But now I have chosen to finally admit it,

When you think of your ideal man I never show up as a figure,

If you were a homicide cupid , i'd never be on the other end of your trigger,

Pity you will never accept me for who I am,

And I will never be your ideal man.

Mas por mais que eu tento eu não consigo,

E esse castigo deixou-me com sequelas,

Pois a minha vida passou a ser uma noite escura mas tu continuas a ser minha estrela,

Estas distante mas continuo a ver-te como estivesse a ver de um microscópio,

Pois a distancia nos separa mas continuo a ser o teu próprio,

A realidade é que esses 1209600 segundos distante de ti,

só me fizeram perceber que a falta que fazes a mim,

Mas sei que esse tempo cedo passará,

E tu estarás de volta ao teu lugar,

E eu estarei a te aguardar,
