Do you Believe?

Do you believe?

Ok, that’s cool,

But what if your beliefs are ridiculed?

It’s easy to believe in your comfort zone,

Hard when you’re being marginalized and stoned,

Isolated from society and forced to change entirely,

Do your beliefs correlate to your reality?

Do your believes dictate who you are or are simply where you choose to be?

Or will they be abandoned in the midst of difficulty,

You say you believe, but what exactly do you believe in?

Politics or religion,

Or are you one of those with his own vision,

Did you stumble upon it, or was it your decision?

Do you believe? It’s easy with family and friends besides,

Real belief goes beyond your eyesight,

And can only be found when looked deep inside,

Real belief Transcends the minds, spirit & soul,

True belief Transcends it all,

It’s easy to believe when your lungs are filled with fresh air,

But hard to believe when you are suffering no one there,

All of a sudden, your beliefs disappear,

And evaporate,

Even the greatest amount of faith can’t elaborate,

When it seems like no one cares,

And you become desperate,

When you’re overwhelmed by your fears,

And can’t explain where your faith is

And you let it take control,

And the great faith you once knew becomes tiny,

And disappears entirely,

The concept of belief is many times misunderstood,

Because it goes beyond me & probably beyond you,

It cannot be explained,

And takes a leap of faith to be attained,

Takes great strength to bear and will to persevere,

The real question is do you believe?
